SLS LUX Brickell in Miami offers a front desk opportunity to deliver personalized guest experiences. You will check guests in and provide informed recommendations about local happenings and hotel services, while maintaining privacy and security standards.

The role requires staying attentive, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and potentially working overnight shifts. Prior hospitality experience and English fluency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Ability to work overnight.
• Proficient understanding of Opera, Go Concierge, HotSOS, Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and POS systems.
• Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Actively welcome, greet, and check guests in.
• Inform guests with knowledge of the hotel, services, the city, and local happenings.
• Ensure requests are handled accurately with appropriate service and follow-up.
• Differentiate guest types and handle accordingly (reservations, walk-ins, VIPs, groups).
• Follow up on arrivals, modify registration cards, handle rate changes and inquiries.
• Record matters in HotSos or the hotel system and ensure privacy standards.
