Job summary

You will manage daily F&B operations, enforce standards, mentor staff, control costs, and collaborate with departments to deliver memorable guest experiences at a first-class property. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to work calmly in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant within a luxury hotel or full-service resort.
• Knowledge of Micros POS system.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant, positive personality.
• Well organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and relay information about upcoming events to staff under supervision.
• Provide information about capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients.
• Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
• Ensure that standards of food, beverage and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation.
• Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage and labor.
• Utilize inventory systems for receiving and product utilization (cost).
• Lead by example and create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage loyalty among employees.
• Assist with hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel.
• Assist in other Food and Beverage outlets as needed.
