Job summary

Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a well-rounded Food & Beverage Supervisor – Garni to join our upscale team. This fast-paced role emphasizes delivering exceptional service and maintaining Forbes standards.

You will supervise bar and dining areas, collaborate with staff across outlets, and ensure flawless guest experiences while mentoring team members in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED recommended.
• TIPS certification within 30 days of hire is required or to be obtained.
• Current Food Handlers card required.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisor experience in a luxury resort setting preferred.
• Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the bar and indoor/outdoor seating areas in a supervisory capacity and cross-utilize in other outlets as needed.
• Ensure guests are assisted by service staff for a flawless welcome and dining experience.
• Fill in wherever needed, upholding Forbes standards and guest care.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally and efficiently.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain smooth service flow and coordinate kitchen and front-of-house activities.
• Address staff concerns and feedback to improve service and team dynamics.
• Train and motivate staff to uphold high standards of service and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and surrounding property.
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of liquor, beers, non-alcoholic selections, glassware, and garnishes.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
