The Inn at Little Washington is seeking a Floral Assistant to create and maintain luxury floral arrangements throughout the property, ensuring a five-star guest experience. You will support the florist, assist with events, and help maintain inventory and standards as part of a premier, Forbes-recognized team.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of floral experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and have a flexible schedule, including holidays.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge with floral designs.
• Assist in preparation of flowers and create arrangements for events.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Maintain professional etiquette with guests and employees.
• Be knowledgeable of hotel services, features, and local attractions.
• Greet all guests as though welcoming them to your own home.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas.
• Follow Forbes Standards in daily operations and guest interactions.
• Review the floral report to determine quantity of arrangements needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Stock and maintain workspace.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Complete all assigned projects by the florist.
• Follow all disinfecting and sanitization policies.
