Job summary

The Inn at Little Washington is seeking a Floral Assistant to support daily floral operations and deliver a Five-star, Five-diamond experience for all guests. Create and maintain luxury flower arrangements across the property and assist the florist with assigned duties to enhance guest delight.

You will demonstrate floral design knowledge, assist with event arrangements, manage inventory, and maintain professional etiquette with guests and staff while upholding Forbes standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of floral experience
• Weekend availability and flexible schedule, including holidays
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge with floral designs
• Understand art, style and color to create arrangements
• Prepare flowers and create arrangements for events
• Assist in inventory management
• Maintain professional etiquette with guests and staff
• Know hotel services and history to answer guest inquiries
• Greet guests as you would welcome them to your home
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
• Follow Forbes Standards in daily operations
• Monitor floral reports to determine quantity of arrangements
• Follow SOPs and safety regulations
• Stock and maintain workspace
• Attend meetings and complete projects
• Adhere to disinfecting and sanitization policies
