Riviera Dining Group in Miami seeks a knowledgeable Sommelier to deliver an elevated beverage experience in a fast-paced luxury dining environment. You will guide guests through wine, sake, and beverage selections and support the service team with expert recommendations.

Deep knowledge of wines, sake, and spirits, plus a hospitality-focused mindset, is essential. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Certification preferred (Court of Master Sommeliers or WSET).
• Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume upscale or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of wine, sake, and spirits.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Hospitality-focused, guest-centric demeanor with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through wine, sake, and beverage selections with an elevated dining experience.
• Maintain expert knowledge of wines-by-the-glass and pairings and proper wine service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Support the service team by communicating guest preferences and assisting with floor operations.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of beverage products and report issues.
• Stay current on industry trends and sanitation standards.
