Job summary

Langham Hospitality Group seeks a front-of-house leader to oversee Travelle Restaurant and Bar, Pavilion, and In Room Dining in Chicago. You will supervise servers, manage service standards, and ensure guest satisfaction in line with Langham and Forbes guidelines.

You will handle scheduling, training, and safety, while maintaining sanitation, quality, and timely follow-up on guest concerns. Luxury hospitality experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality degree preferred.
• One year of experience in Food & Beverage and management roles; luxury experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of F&B operations, service techniques and guest interaction.
• Strong math and algebra skills for percentages and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house teams including servers and staff, manage schedules, training, motivation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management; provide feedback and resolve guest concerns.
• Ensure service standards via daily audits and pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards; monitor equipment and facility condition.
• Contribute to marketing efforts, menu ideas, and guest satisfaction surveys.
• Perform line duties during peak times or emergencies.
