Job summary

The Langham, Chicago, part of Langham Hospitality Group, seeks an experienced Front of House leader to supervise Guest Reception, Concierge, and related areas. You will train staff, enforce policy compliance, and uphold Forbes service standards across all Front of House operations.

Ideal candidates have two+ years in luxury hotel Front Office management, a high school diploma (college degree preferred), and a proven track record of excellence in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years Front Office/Front of House management experience in a luxury hotel.
• High School Diploma required; four-year college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth operation of all front of house areas.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Develop and implement guest reception up-sell programs with clear targets.
• Coach and counsels colleagues; conduct regular audits and interfacing with accounting.
• Maintain communication across departments and uphold Langham standards.
• Train colleagues in technical skills, hospitality updates, and organizational skills.
• Lead and develop hourly staff to take on greater responsibilities.
