Job summary

Langham Chicago is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead Travelle Restaurant and Bar, Pavilion, and In Room Dining. You will supervise staff, uphold service standards, and ensure guest satisfaction in line with Langham and Forbes guidelines.

The role requires at least one year in F&B management, a high school diploma (hotel/restaurant mgmt preferred), and you will work on-site in Chicago with comprehensive benefits and a path to professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred.
• 1 year of previous Food & Beverage and management experience; luxury experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in directing and supervising food servers and staff, including scheduling, training, motivation, and safety.
• Conduct daily service audits to ensure standards are met.
• Lead pre-shift meetings with Food and Beverage colleagues.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure timely follow-up.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards; inspect facilities and coordinate repairs.
• Monitor food quality and guest satisfaction; interact with guests for feedback.
• Maintain inventory and support marketing/ menu development.
• Perform line employee duties during peak times or emergencies.
