Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking a seasoned Front Office Manager to supervise guest reception, concierge, and related front of house operations. You will lead training and development across colleagues, uphold Langham Chicago service standards and Forbes standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a luxury environment.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in Front Office/Front of House management at a luxury hotel, with strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills to maintain

Qualifications

• Minimum two years previous Front Office / Front of House management experience in a luxury hotel.
• Supervise guest reception, front desk, and related front of house operations.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards, procedures and brand/Forbes service standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of all front of house areas.
• Implement and monitor a guest reception up-sell program with clear targets.
• Conduct audits, coach colleagues, and communicate with accounting on irregularities.
• Maintain relationships with all hotel departments and ensure high standards of service.
• Train and develop colleagues; lead daily training across technical and hospitality skills.
• Ensure Langham’s Brilliant recognition program is executed and culture of empowerment is fostered.
