Job summary

Maui Jim in Los Angeles seeks an in-field Sales Representative to drive growth for Maui Jim and Zeal Optics across the territory. You will build strong relationships with eyewear retailers and identify new business opportunities while executing sales strategies and providing exceptional partner support.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of outside sales experience, a background in eyewear or fashion accessories, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience in the optical, eyewear, fashion accessory, or sunglass industry preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of successful outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and increase market penetration for Maui Jim and Zeal Optics within the territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective accounts.
• Identify and prioritize customers with the greatest potential for current and future sales growth.
• Partner with the Managing Director to optimize territory coverage using call cycle and route planning.
• Document account visits, activities, and objectives through company systems.
• Represent the Company professionally while communicating products, programs, policies, and services.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and economic developments affecting territory performance.
• Utilize sales tools, literature, marketing materials, and promotional programs.
• Maintain accurate territory records and activity reports.
• Increase sales through product training, presentations, and relationship-building with customers.
