Job summary

Maui Jim Sunglasses is seeking a dynamic outside sales professional to drive territory growth, expand Maui Jim and Zeal Optics market presence, and develop strong customer relationships with retailers and partners across the assigned region.

You will execute sales and marketing strategies, train customers on product features, and collaborate with leadership to optimize coverage and performance. Travel will be extensive to meet retailers and build brand presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of successful outside sales experience.
• Experience in the optical, eyewear, fashion accessory, or sunglass industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and increase market penetration within the territory for Maui Jim and Zeal Optics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective accounts.
• Identify and prioritize customers with the greatest potential for current and future sales growth.
• Partner with the Managing Director to optimize territory coverage using call cycle and route planning software.
• Document account visits, activities, and objectives through the Lae Ula app and other company systems.
• Represent Maui Jim professionally while communicating products, programs, policies, and services.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and economic developments affecting territory performance.
• Utilize company-provided sales tools, literature, marketing materials, and promotional programs.
• Maintain accurate territory records, customer information, and activity reports.
• Increase sales through product training, presentations, and relationship-building.
• Achieve territory sales objectives and KPIs.
