Job summary

The Knox Hotel, Auberge Collection, in Dallas seeks a Group Sales Manager to build a robust pipeline and secure pre-opening group business worldwide ahead of the 2026 opening.

The role requires 3+ years of luxury hotel group sales experience, a track record of achieving revenue goals, and a network of client relationships. Collaborates with Revenue, Catering, Reservations, and Operations to deliver premium group experiences.

Qualifications

• At least three years of successful hotel group sales experience, with luxury hospitality focus; pre-opening experience preferred.
• Proven record of meeting/exceeding group revenue goals and converting opportunities to contracted business.
• Strong network of client/intermediary relationships with regional and international reach.
• Knowledge of group booking practices, room blocks, sales systems, and hotel operations.
• Polished presentation, writing, organization and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and secure group room business in local, national and international markets to meet revenue goals.
• Lead pre-opening group sales by building pipelines, prospect lists and account plans.
• Translate design and service standards into compelling proposals and value propositions.
• Develop strategic plans for high-potential global accounts with senior decision-makers.
• Evaluate opportunities based on revenue and displacement for profitability.
• Respond to inquiries with tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and execute contracts.
• Conduct site inspections and presentations reflecting brand standards.
• Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity records in CRM.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and intermediaries; identify referrals.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Catering, Reservations, and Operations on availability and handoffs.
