Job summary

The Knox Hotel Employer LLC in Dallas is seeking a talented Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and event revenue for The Knox by securing social, wedding, corporate and local business opportunities. You will own the client relationship from first inquiry through contract and handoff to the events team, helping build the property’s business as a founding team member.

This role is hands-on and highly visible, requiring a polished seller who can translate Auberge's intimate, personalized

Qualifications

• 2+ years catering or event sales experience in luxury venues is required.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding catering revenue goals.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, banquet operations and event logistics.
• Experience with weddings, social events and corporate meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries promptly and convert leads into signed contracts.
• Develop new social, wedding, corporate and local business opportunities.
• Build relationships with Dallas planners, clubs, nonprofits and communities.
• Achieve revenue goals; support forecasting and catering sales plan.
• Lead site inspections and tours showcasing venues and design.
• Write proposals and contracts; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Guide clients through menus, floor plans, timelines and vendor coordination.
• Prepare event details and ensure BEOs and resumes are updated for handoff.
• Present upcoming events at weekly meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Build pre-opening pipeline and pre-launch sales outreach.
