Job summary

MacArthur Place and Sebastiani Winery seek an experienced Event Sales Manager to drive business for weddings, social events, corporate meetings (no rooms), and catering. You will develop new accounts, nurture client relationships, negotiate contracts, and hit revenue goals with operations and events teams to ensure flawless execution and exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include proposals, pricing, and contract management, site tours, and collaboration with culinary and events staff.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of event, wedding, or hospitality sales experience, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, winery, or event venue.
• Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries and solicit new and existing accounts.
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business.
• Maintain CRM and ensure proper documentation and turnover to the Events team.
• Collaborate with Event Managers, Culinary, Operations, Hospitality Centers, and other departments for successful event execution.
• Represent MacArthur Place and Sebastiani Winery at trade shows, networking events, and related marketing initiatives.
