Job summary

Grand Living in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Dining Manager to lead front-of-house operations for residents and guests across multiple dining venues, including special events. The role emphasizes exceptional service, staff training, and coordination with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards.

The position requires 3+ years of Food & Beverage or Front of House management in a country club, fine dining, or upscale senior living setting, plus strong English communication and dexterity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management or Culinary Diploma preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience managing Food & Beverage or Front of House in upscale settings.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; able to train staff and manage operations.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Resident dining experience through exceptional management and training.
• Coordinate dining activities for all venues: Bistro, Casual, Formal, and more.
• Uphold service standards and ensure timely, courteous guest interactions.
• Support Executive Chef in community standards, procedures, and event planning.
