Job summary

Grand Living at Tower Place in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and mentor kitchen staff across Bistro, Casual, Formal, and memory care dining venues. You will oversee culinary operations, train staff, and ensure exceptional cuisine and service for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in Food and Beverage, country club, fine dining, restaurant or senior living hospitality experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to direct, manage, hire and train kitchen staff.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and provide oversight to kitchen employees.
• Supervise and coordinate culinary activities for all dining venues and events.
• Ensure high level of satisfaction for Residents and guests.
