Job summary

Grand Living at Tower Place in West Des Moines is seeking a General Manager to lead the dining program across multiple venues, including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Memory Care, Room Service, and Club Room. The role reports to the Executive Chef and emphasizes service excellence and staff development.

You will train Front of House teams, uphold high standards, and coordinate events while maintaining the brand’s luxury guest experience and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• The General Manager must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience managing Food & Beverage or Front of House in a country club, fine dining restaurant, and/or upscale Senior living environment, required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to direct, manage, hire, and train staff and communicate with Residents.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the overall Resident dining experience through exceptional management and training of Front of House staff.
• Coordinate culinary/dining activities for all dining venues and special events.
• Uphold service standards and ensure timely, courteous service in all venues.
