Job summary

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa seeks a Conference Services Manager to orchestrate exceptional events, serving as the liaison between clients and the hotel. You will manage planning, on-site coordination and final billing, ensuring flawless execution for high-end groups and events.

The role requires superb communication, time management and problem-solving skills in a luxury setting, with shifts including weekends and holidays as needed. Reports to the Director of Conference Services.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills with precise attention to detail.
• At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, corporate groups or social events.
• Menu and wine knowledge preferred.
• Strong time management skills and organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned groups and events in a luxury hotel setting.
• Distribute detailed event orders, group resumes and diagrams to stakeholders.
• Oversee on-site event coordination and assist with final billing arrangements.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and vendors to deliver elevated experiences.
