Job summary

La Posada de Santa Fe, A Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Conference Services Manager to plan and execute group meetings and events, serving as the primary post-turnover hotel contact, coordinating guest rooms, spaces, F&B, AV, and billing while delivering personalized Santa Fe hospitality.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in conference services, catering, or event planning.
• Luxury, lifestyle, resort, boutique, or full-service hotel experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating group meetings and corporate programs.
• Knowledge of banquet operations, F&B planning, guestroom blocks, and event billing.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales, catering, or property-management systems.
• Familiarity with Santa Fe’s culture and offerings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned groups after turnover from Sales or Catering.
• Lead planning conversations to understand client objectives and program requirements.
• Coordinate all event aspects: guestrooms, meeting space, F&B, AV, transportation, décor, billing, and requests.
• Conduct planning meetings, site visits, menu consultations, and pre-convention meetings.
• Prepare and distribute banquet event orders, resumes, rooming-list reports, diagrams, agendas, and other docs.
• Establish timelines for rooming lists, guarantees, deposits, and deadlines.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout planning.
• Ensure seamless transition from sales to hotel operations.
• Ensure event details are communicated to all hotel departments.
