InterContinental The Clement Monterey in Monterey, CA is seeking an outgoing Concierge to deliver personalized service to guests from arrival through departure. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a hospitality mindset and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

You will offer recommendations, assist with reservations, coordinate with hotel departments, and uphold brand standards. Two years of customer service in hospitality are expected; multilingual abilities are a plus, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer service in hospitality or related field.
• Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized guest services and recommendations for dining, attractions, transportation, and entertainment.
• Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and transportation arrangements.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services and other departments to exceed guest expectations.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities and Monterey area attractions.
• Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, radio, and in person.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and guest service excellence.
