InterContinental The Clement Monterey in Monterey, CA is seeking an outgoing Concierge to deliver personalized service to guests from arrival through departure. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a hospitality mindset and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

You will offer recommendations, assist with reservations, coordinate with hotel departments, and uphold brand standards. Two years of customer service in hospitality are expected; multilingual abilities are a plus, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer service in hospitality or related field.
• Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate seamlessly with Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel amenities, local events, and Monterey area attractions.
• Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, radio communication, and in person.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and deliver exceptional service at every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions, dining, and cultural experiences is highly desirable.
