Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a courteous Member Services Assistant to provide guest services to members and their guests at the club entrances and exits. Training will cover the club’s standards, and the assistant may escort members to areas of the club as requested, upholding the luxury reputation and discretion expected by our guests.

This role requires professionalism, the ability to multi-task, and a friendly, attentive approach.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent office/clerical experience.
• Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily, weekly, and yearly inventory.
• Keep Front Desk appropriately stocked at all times.
• Keeping track of operating tools and supplies.
• Meet and greet members and their guest as they enter the club.
• Answer phones with an upbeat tone using our standard greeting within 3 ring.
• Provide the member what they want, in an acceptable amount of time while personalizing the service, and going above and beyond to exceed the members expectations.
• Basic computer knowledge to look up members information and ringing up guest fees and services.
• Assisting members in choosing and deciding on classes and informing them when the classes are held.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by your supervisor that are related to the Member Services Department and the Houstonian Campus.
