Job summary

Stark Carpet Corporation requires an experienced Account Manager for our Charlotte, NC showroom. You will cover trade and luxury carpet sales to interior designers and architectural firms, cultivating a strong local book of business with exceptional client service.

The role demands a hunter mindset, a polished client-focused approach, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to installation—in a high-end showroom setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in trade or luxury markets.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts and grow revenue.
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and proactive client follow-up.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to learn STARK product lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow trade accounts through prospecting, referrals, and networking.
• Build relationships with interior designers, architects, and clients in showroom and on site.
• Create strategic plans to maximize growth opportunities and close sales.
• Manage the full order lifecycle from consultation to delivery and installation.
• Prepare quotes and sales documents; coordinate with showroom and operations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and track pipeline activity.
• Support installation layouts and design specifications as needed.
