Job summary

Stark Carpet in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Account Manager for A&D trade and luxury carpet sales. The role focuses on building relationships with interior designers and architectural firms in the showroom.

You will advise on product attributes, develop client-centric plans, conduct client visits and cold calls, and support events and installations to deliver a full-service client experience.

Qualifications

• Must have strong relationships with interior design clientele
• Strong interest in the interior design trade and interpersonal, communication and computer skills
• Advanced knowledge of carpet qualities, attributes and manufacturing techniques preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field and 2+ years sales to the trade, or 5+ years sales to the trade in lieu of education

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on product attributes related to their needs
• Identify potential clients and create strategic client-centric marketing plans
• Cold call potential clients and create pre and post visit reports
• Collaborate on development of core message to clients
• Develop event strategy and organize client events with budgets
• Prepare sales documents and layout installations from the design perspective
• Perform other duties as assigned
