Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering, with a focus on multifamily properties.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and structural components.
• OSHA safety rules and regulations compliance and safety focus.
• Proven experience in responding to resident service requests and performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and engineering operations to uphold high-quality, safe, and functional standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance budget, expenses, and cost-saving opportunities within guidelines.
• Coordinate organization and inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally, with advanced troubleshooting when needed.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Support make-ready processes for vacant apartments to meet luxury standards.
• Assist with after-hours emergencies and on-call rotations as needed.
