Qualifications

• Must have substantial experience in building maintenance and engineering for multifamily properties.
• Certifications in fire protection and HVAC maintenance are required.
• A safety‑minded approach with strong problem‑solving skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and engineering operations with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist in managing the maintenance budget and identify cost improvements.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment, ensuring stock levels.
• Keep maintenance shop and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve resident issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist in make‑ready process for vacant apartments, ensuring luxury standards.
• Maintain property appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report safety concerns.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call emergencies and respond swiftly.
• Coordinate and dispatch Assistant Building Engineers for emergencies.
