Job summary

Cartier North America is seeking a Boutique Assistant to support client experiences in a luxury boutique environment. You will help with appointment prep, product presentation, and seamless client service, ensuring an exceptional journey aligned with Cartier values and standards.

The role emphasizes hospitality, front-and-back-of-house support, and daily management of retail operations, including the RDV booking tool. Weekend availability and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Luxury retail, service or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Willingness to work retail hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment to enhance the client journey from beginning to end that aligns with our Cartier Values.
• Assist the boutique team front-of-house and back-of-house with various activities to facilitate seamless client experiences, including appointment preparation, client entertainment, product presentation, and sales finalization.
• As part of appointment support, assist sales associates to set the stage with impactful discovery and pre-appointment browsing.
• Support the flow of boutique traffic and daily management of the boutique appointment booking tool (RDV) and queue as needed.
• Maintain the visual standards of wrap rooms and organization of Client Services areas.
• Maintain and replenish daily needs for sales and hospitality areas, support the order process and storage organization.
• Support client treatment and personal services such as directions, restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, floral orders, etc.; create maps and literature as needed.
• Assist with phone duties and appointment setting for inquiries.
• Assist clients with quick service requests and personalization services (strap changes, watch sizing, engraving, etc.).
• Daily setup and breakdown of boutique for opening/closing as needed.
• Partner with Operations Coordinator to manage stock maintenance of non-sellables.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Understand and comply with security and operational procedures.
• Stay updated on industry news and competition; engage with the community.
• Strive for operational excellence in boutique environment.
