Job summary

PERG online is seeking a Bellperson to deliver exceptional guest service by developing relationships and anticipating guest needs. The role involves supervising bell staff, managing luggage, and coordinating with Front Desk for VIP arrivals, taxis, and shuttle service.

The Bellperson will engage guests in conversation, assist with reservations, and ensure lobby presence during shifts while maintaining a clean, efficient work area and daily bell log.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous luxury hotel experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in person or via radio/phone.
• Knowledge of local area and attractions.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bell carts and assist with baggage handling.
• Greet guests with a friendly, professional tone and provide personalized service.
• Supervise bell staff and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
• Assist with restaurant and limousine reservations for guests.
• Deliver parcels, mail and deliveries to guestrooms.
• Maintain a tidy bell storage area and daily bell log.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Direct guests to Front Desk or meeting rooms and assist with taxi/shuttle requests.
• Engage guests and communicate information to the next shift.
