Job summary

Proper Hospitality in Austin’s Downtown Second Street District seeks a Bell/Luggage Attendant to deliver outstanding guest service, assist with luggage, guide guests to rooms, and support a smooth check-in/check-out experience.

You will work closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping to ensure a warm welcome, handle luggage safely (up to 50 pounds), maintain a neat lobby, and uphold safety and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and transporting luggage.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm attitude and assist with luggage.
• Escort guests to rooms and inform them of hotel amenities.
• Provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Safely handle luggage and keep luggage area organized.
• Maintain a neat lobby and ensure service equipment is in good condition.
• Monitor luggage security and report suspicious activity.
• Follow safety policies when lifting or transporting items.
• Collaborate with Front Desk and Housekeeping to fulfill room requests.
