Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Store Sales Associate in White Plains to deliver exceptional service while promoting Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, and Stearns & Foster products. You will help manage daily store performance and support the Store Manager with merchandising, customer care, and brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' retail experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Familiar with current best practice retail methods and standards.
• Flexible schedule to reflect store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods and occasionally lift items.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and in maintaining Tempur Sealy's brand.
• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
