Job summary

Tempur Sealy in the United States is seeking a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic products and representing the brand. You may serve in a management capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening or closing the store and handling management duties.

The role requires 1-3 years of retail experience, strong consultative selling skills, and comfort with retail software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' retail experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrated collaborator able to both lead and follow.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionally lifting items with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the store's overall performance.
• Lead the sales process with a focus on customer service and maintaining the brand.
• Support the Store Manager by merchandising and implementing company programs.
• Resolve issues within the sales team and escalate larger problems to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
