Job summary

Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas in Encinitas, CA, is seeking a Banquet Manager/Event Services Manager for a 60-90 day assignment. The role monitors daily banquet operations, guides the banquet team, and collaborates with culinary and events staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of prior experience as Banquet Manager/Event Services Manager, preferably in a luxury hotel.

Responsibilities

• Supports and manages the Events Department while coordinating with hotel departments.
• Supervise and coach banquet team to achieve excellent guest service results.
• Review Banquet Event Orders to ensure timely setup and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering/CS, CS Floor and Beverage for events.
• Develop creative décor ideas for banquet spaces and ensure high energy, professional presentation.
