Job summary

Alila Marea in Encinitas, CA seeks an Assistant F&B Manager to oversee daily full-service outlets and coordinate events. You will lead a friendly team, manage staffing, schedules and training in a luxury environment.

We value hospitality passion, guest satisfaction and strong communication. Prior experience in fine dining and knowledge of beverages will help you succeed in this role at our renowned property.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-service, fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Solid understanding of F&B operations.
• Knowledge of liquor, wine and beer; certifications a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Micros Symphony POS.
• Excellent planning, organizational and team leadership skills.
• Strong communication and guest relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage floor during service and coach staff.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and training.
• Handle payroll tasks and timekeeping with HR.
• Coordinate staff, orders, invoices and stockrooms.
• Stay current on F&B offerings and trends.
• Engage with guests and respond to feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
