Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas seeks a Banquet Manager/Event Services Manager for a 60-90 day assignment. You will monitor daily banquet operations, guide the banquet team, and coordinate with catering, convention services, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth events.

The role is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities including staffing, decor development, and adherence to Hyatt standards. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $92,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the banquet team and events staff.
• Collaborate with Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events and other departments.
• Review Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper setup and standards.
• Plan staffing, equipment needs and budget for functions.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering/CS, CS Floor and Beverage.
• Maintain a high-energy, professional appearance and guest focus.
• Develop innovative decor concepts for banquet spaces and events.
• Support floor coverage in F&B outlets during slower periods.
