Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a seasoned Banquet Captain to oversee all aspects of banquet events, review BEOs, and ensure flawless setup and breakdown. You will train new team members and elevate service standards while actively participating in day-to-day operations.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in banquets, preferably in an upper upscale or luxury hotel; a post-secondary diploma is a plus. Flexible, leadership-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Passionate about banquets with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in banquets, preferably in an upper upscale or luxury hotel environment.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Experience in banquet operations, a team player, natural leader, hardworking, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the banquet events, including reviewing BEOs and executing a perfect set-up and break down of each event.
• Train new team members and elevate service standards at every turn.
• Uphold service standards to the highest level and participate in day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with front- and heart-of-house teams to ensure flawless events.
