Job summary

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. in Seattle seeks a seasoned Banquet Captain (On Call) to lead banquet events, coordinate front- and heart-of-house teams, and ensure flawless setup, service, and breakdown.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of progressive banquet experience in a luxury hotel environment, a post-secondary diploma, and the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience working in banquets.
• Experience in banquet operations, a team player, natural leader, hardworking and detail oriented.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of banquet events, including reviewing BEOs and executing setup and breakdown.
• Train new team members and elevate service standards at every turn.
• Actively participate in day-to-day operations, upholding Starwood's service standards to the highest level.
