Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a service advisor is preferred.
• High school diploma or the equivalent and authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be insurable with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic communication and problem solving skills; and basic mathematical skills using American units of measure.
• Physical demands include: constantly position body and move in order to greet clients and inspect vehicles, detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion
• Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with occasional exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Actively listen to clients and interpret body language to exceed expectations and de-escalate issues.
• Communicate with service customers; gather info; provide technicians with needed details; record maintenance.
• Record vehicle condition during arrival with walk-arounds.
• Advise customers on Mercedes-Benz maintenance; present needed additional work with costs and time.
• Handle inquiries by phone, email, text; schedule appointments.
• Greet clients, review work, explain charges; ensure satisfaction after sale and follow up.
• Abide by policy and perform other duties as assigned.
