Job summary

Carousel Fine Art in Atlanta's Buckhead Village is seeking a goal-oriented sales consultant to join our team. This in-person role focuses on building lasting relationships with collectors, designers, and art-curious clients, guiding them toward artwork they love.

You will work with internal teams on sales strategy, inventory, and events, with weekend availability and occasional openings. A base salary plus uncapped commission rewards performance and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with high-value sales, ideally including individual transactions or client relationships valued at $25,000+.
• Background in art, design, luxury retail, hospitality, or a client-facing advisory role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for contemporary art and design.
• Ability to manage relationships, follow-through, and details with consistency.
• Proficient computer and application skills — Google Drive, Photoshop, Canva, Monday.com, apps like Smartist, and AI tools are used on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic long-term relationships with collectors, designers, and art-curious clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor—listening first, guiding thoughtfully, and matching clients with the right works.
• Organically and considerately helping clients reach the final steps of owning an artwork.
• Create a welcoming, energetic gallery atmosphere that encourages conversation and return visits.
• Represent the gallery at local events and actively participate in the Chicago design and development communities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams on sales strategy, artist knowledge, artwork inventory and client outreach.
• Maintain strong follow-up, CRM organization, and client communication.
• Support gallery operations, inventory receiving/reporting, and sales recording with precision.
• Contribute ideas and energy while remaining a supportive, reliable team player.
