Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Alterations Associate in Beverly Hills, FL to join the tailoring team. You will deliver customer service and expert alterations, guiding fabric and fit decisions during fittings to ensure a premium luxury experience.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of high-end tailoring, solid knowledge of specialty techniques, and the ability to handle a wide range of garments with precision. Includes an employee discount and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in leather, knits, double face, beading, fine tailoring, buttonholes, etc.
• Ability to use all standard sewing, pressing & spotting equipment.
• Knowledge of alterations industry incl. fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.

• Aim to exceed individual performance and productivity goals.
• Maintain high level of customer service and develop strong customer relationships.
• Follow all Saks Fifth Avenue policies and alteration workroom procedures.
• Utilize expertise to make alterations decisions during fittings.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support store and department initiatives; handle ad hoc responsibilities.
