The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking a Spa Coordinator to welcome guests, assist with bookings, and explain treatments. The role supports guest experiences at the hotel’s Forbes Five-Star spa and requires excellent communication and a guest-first approach.

Responsibilities include reservations, coordinating with colleagues, handling payments, and maintaining a pristine spa environment. Flexible schedules including nights and weekends are expected in this luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of spa experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Physical demands: Stand for an entire work shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner.
• Provide assistance to guests and explain, sell, and book treatments.
• Make reservations for guests for all Spa services.
• Communicate all necessary information with colleagues (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, special requests, restrictions).
• Answer telephones with professional etiquette.
• Handle cash and ensure accuracy of contracted monies; manage gift cards.
• Access and operate computer system according to procedures and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and ensure proper setup.
• Address guest comments and concerns promptly.
