Cedar Ridge Village in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. This position prepares meals according to cycle menus and monitors food handling, service, and sanitation to create a restaurant-style dining experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year food service experience in healthcare setting desired.
• Knowledge of quantity food preparation, portioning, and service.
• Serv Safe certification within first year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate food preparation and meal service, including nutritional snacks.
• Monitor temperatures of hot and cold foods during preparation and service.
• Plan and initiate cooking schedule to meet meal times.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and storage of food and supplies.
• Clean equipment and work areas; follow safety and infection control procedures.
