Job summary

TOTEME on Madison Avenue in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team, driving sales, and delivering an elevated client experience.

The role requires a minimum of three years in a senior retail role, proven leadership, strong budgeting and analytics, and fluency in English; you will coach staff, manage operations, and contribute to brand storytelling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a senior retail role, preferably luxury fashion.
• Experience in leading and coaching a high-performing team.
• Solid understanding of store workflows, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations, ensure efficient workflows, and staff scheduling.
• Drive sales performance and monitor progress to meet or exceed targets.
• Provide daily coaching and support to Sales Advisors for high performance.
• Guide the team on brand knowledge, collections, store experience, and procedures.
• Support in-store events and activations with the Store Manager.
• Lead by example in client relationships and clienteling.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and coach daily execution.
• Conduct regular team briefings on priorities and policies.
• Share product insights with internal teams based on client needs.
• Participate in TOTEME's sustainability strategy.
