Job summary

Kimpton Miralina Resort in Paradise Valley, AZ seeks a Pastry Chef to supervise all pastry production, manage payroll within budget, and develop new desserts for outlets and banquets.

You will lead pastry and bread production, ensure quality and cost control, and collaborate with F&B teams while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards. A minimum of 5 years in hospitality pastry is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques and health department regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all pastry production for pastry shop, banquets, and outlets.
• Control food and labor costs within budgeted guidelines.
• Maintain quality and cost control of pastry and bread products.
• Schedule staff and coordinate production with banquet and restaurant needs.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and proper equipment operation in the Pastry Shop.
