Job summary

Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich, MA is seeking a friendly Bellperson to welcome guests and assist with luggage, orientation, and delivering a polished arrival and departure experience. You will transport luggage, escort guests to rooms, and coordinate with Front Office to ensure exceptional service.

This role requires a gracious demeanor, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds and standing long hours. Prior luxury experience is preferred. Hourly pay: $16–$17 plus gratuities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to superior guest service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 9 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness.
• Safely transport luggage during arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to accommodations and orient room features, amenities, and services.
• Deliver guest amenities, packages, newspapers, and special requests promptly.
• Assist guests with parking directions and vehicle coordination.
• Transport guests to attractions and around the resort via golf cart or vehicle.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell areas and carts.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer proactive assistance.
• Communicate guest requests to the Front Office team.
