Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection in Dallas is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces and team areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, corridors, event spaces, and responding to spills; flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; prior hotel experience and bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and meeting spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, railings, and decorative elements.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock public restrooms.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Monitor public areas and address cleanliness needs.
• Respond to spills, hazards, and guest concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances and surrounding areas.
• Assist with setup, cleaning, and breakdown of meeting and event spaces.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Keep janitorial closets, equipment, and carts clean and organized.
• Follow chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous assistance and directions to guests.
• Support other departments during high-demand periods.
• Adhere to housekeeping policies and brand standards.
• Meet assigned cleaning schedules and productivity expectations.
• Communicate area conditions to supervisors.
