Job summary

The Post Oak in Houston is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to join the Forbes Five-Star hotel. You will deliver food and beverages to guests in their rooms and set up tables per order, while upholding service standards.

Responsibilities include taking orders by phone or in person, communicating dietary needs to the kitchen, answering menu questions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety and compliance with wage/tip regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hotel experience.
• Ability to carry food and beverage trays safely and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and listening skills.
• Previous hotel luxury or Forbes experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in hotel rooms.
• Set up tables and fulfill room-service orders.
• Take orders by phone and in person as needed.
• Communicate dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
• Answer questions about menu selections.
