Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is hiring a Server Assistant to support Food & Beverage colleagues and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests. You will assist servers, maintain cleanliness, stock stations, and ensure tables are set perfectly with attention to detail.

A one-year or more experience in food and beverage is preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit sincere hospitality; go above and beyond for the guest
• Complete knowledge of products, procedures, and standards
• Be an expert on restaurant-related topics; study and answer questions
• Support servers; assist in as many ways as possible
• Clear tables and coordinate with bussers and servers for smooth service
• Set tables perfectly and ensure chairs, candles, and settings are aligned
• Stock side stations and maintain pars of silverware, glassware, napkins and condiments
• Polish items; stock stations quietly and gently
• Maintain water levels and track which guests drink which water
• Clean spills and debris; assist with floor cleanliness throughout service
• Perform all side work before, during, and after shift
