Nordstrom Beauty Department in Houston is seeking an enthusiastic Beauty Advisor to create personalized experiences for customers, understand their needs, and drive sales of on-trend and luxury brands both in-store and online.

You will perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, stay current with beauty trends, collaborate with the team, book appointments for events, and help build customer loyalty through Nordstrom Rewards, while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends and skincare.
• Excellent ability to connect with customers and proactively handle concerns.
• Empathy and respect for all customers in makeup/skincare applications.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses; recommend products based on goals.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge via trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
