Job summary

Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston is seeking a Barback to support the bar team and ensure guests receive exceptional service. You will keep the bar well-stocked, organized, and clean while assisting bartenders to deliver premium experiences.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, maintaining wine and bar inventory, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain Fairmont luxury standards. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous restaurant/barback or hospitality experience preferred.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders to ensure timely and attentive service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, lounge, and service areas.
• Stock and rotate bar supplies; restock ice, garnishes, glassware, and equipment.
• Support team with beverage preparation and ensure proper inventory control.
• Follow health, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
